Hi5 Photo Downloader
Instead of clicking and saving each photo in hi5 website, you just enter your friend’s page URL or user name, choose albums to be downloaded and then choose the destination folder.

Hi Nick, thanks for your kind suggestion. I’ll improve the application as you requested. I’ll do the easiest thing first because I’m very busy at this moment.
First of all i want to congratulate the developer of this handy proggie…It is very useful to many people and it saves a lot of fuss when it comes in downloading pictures from hi5.
Now i want to make some suggestions concerning the development:
1)One thing is that as i can see, in some users it makes foldernames based on the id of the user and in others it makes a foldername based on their hi5 hostname. As i suppose those users that don’t have a hi5 hostaname it names the folder based on their hi5 numerical id. So i am asking if there is way in those cases to take the foldername from the nickname of the user, just to avoid having foldernames as numbers.
2)One other suggestion is to make this program standalone exe file, i.e to be able the user to download the program and run it from his hard disk.
3)Another suggestion that i think it would help a lot of people is to make a download queue in order to dowload pictures from many users. For example if you want to download some albums from 2-3 users, you must first finish the one and then continue to the 2nd etc. And if you want to download pictures from 10-20 users for example, you have to go in one by one and it takes a lot of time. So it would be very handy to create a download queue/manager in order to be able to input photo albums of many users and set them of to download at once… Or if it would be easier to be able to export the hi5 urls of the photos in order to input them to a download manager for a massive download. I think this would be easier and quicker to implement as long as it takes to implement the download manager version…
4)And finally one last suggestion is, if it would be able to download also the tagged photos of the users…

If you want to download your friend’s pics again, you must come back to this page again. Just do what you did in the previous time. You should set target folder to the same folder as the previous time so the application will not download the same pictures again.
if i want to download my friend’s pics again next time what should i do? Do i need to come back to ur homepage or i can download it automatically? could u give me some instruction for how to download my friend’s pics next time?

The application has been updated to the new version. This version can remember e-mail, password and target folder.
To prevent re-downloading same pictures from the same user, please set target folder to the same folder that you have downloaded pictures into. The application will not download pictures that exist on the target folder.
